Does
eFiltro sign Confidential Disclosure Agreements?
As you may understand, we do not like to sign formal confidential
disclosure agreements (CDAs) since it is impossible to determine
where ideas originate. It is quite reasonable to expect that various
entrepreneurs may share the same vision at approximately the same
time. CDAs also create huge bureaucratic problems, which only
add time and cost to our joint effort. We suggest that you provide
as much information as possible to determine if your idea should
be capitalized. If there are truly proprietary ideas, process,
data or personnel issues that you firmly believe should be protected
(inventions, patent details, employer conflicts, etc.), then refrain
from including these items in your submission, but let us know
about these issues.
We will sign our CDA, which is attached, if that makes you feel
better. Keep in mind that the best defense is speed of execution
of your business plan!
